Austin FC fans are gearing up for what is anticipated to be another exciting season. After a disappointing 12th place finish last season, and a lot of changes to the roster, fans are gearing up to cheer on the verde and black hoping for a winning start to the season. Here are some of our picks for craft beer destinations to catch matches around town.
As always, our picks include spots that meet these three criteria:
Enthusiasm for the game. These folks love soccer and it’s evident by the crowds they draw and the electric atmosphere during the game. No one wants to be the only one cheering with a painted face.
Play matches with the sound on. There is nothing worse than staring at an intense game while DJ music is pumping all around you.

Check out this new spot in the location that was formerly the Growler Room for a great selection of craft beer and bites.
Celis Brewery
Food specials and green beer are on the menu. The brewery opens at noon and the game will be on with sound.
Haymaker & Black Sheep Lodge
These sister bars are well-known soccer venues that typically draw a big crowd, so get here early to secure a spot.
Hi Sign Brewing
Hi Sign Brewing is showing the matches in their swanky taproom.
Hopsquad Brewing Co.
In partnership with Los Verdes, expect plenty of songs and chanting along with food trucks.
Independence Brewing Co.
If you live in South Austin, this is a great spot to catch the match and enjoy $2 Native Texan beer on draft.
Last Stand Brewing Co.
The SoCo location has plenty of space to grab a spot with your friends and catch each match and will offer a $10 burger, beer, and a side for all matches.
Mister Tramps Sports Pub
Dubbed Austin’s Home for the World Cup and the EPL, they will be open for all games. As a well-known quintessential soccer pub, get there early and expect great crowds.
Nosh and Bevvy
Known as a great spot to watch a Premier League match, they also play Austin FC matches.

With plenty of TVs, the game will be televised with sound. Excellent beer selection and great pizza – add this one to your list.

Well known for its solid beer program, there is plenty of space to watch the match indoors.

Spot on Anderson Lane to grab a pizza and a pint while watching the match.
