This week, TABC releases Label approvals which include the 4th Tap. These are the first label approvals for the upcoming Austin brewery. Their build out is continuing on their North Austin location with their plan to be open by the end of August…..if everything goes well. The space will feature a good size taproom.
Hops and Grain is also approved for Volumes of Funk/Oak in 750ml. Yes, I will not need to say anything else.
Proof and Cooper is a new restaurant off of Hamilton Pool Road near Dripping Springs. Their concept is to have Southern “picnic” food along with a full bar featuring craft cocktails. While this is the first that I have heard of them also operating a brewery, the restaurant has already opened with a lot of guest taps.
Freetail Brewing are beginning to get bottles approved for their Super Mega Awesome Bottle Release Day 2015. Komorebi is a Tripel refermented with pears, while Peach Bexarliner Weisse is their barrel aged Imperial Berliner Weisse.
