American Craft Beer Week Austin Events: Saturday 5/16/15

American Craft Beer Week is here and there are some exciting beer events going on all week.

Events for Saturday 5/16:

11am Cask Tapping, MORE – Indy Red Bull Cask w. Peach & Mint, etc. @Hi Hat
Several great Austin craft brewers are getting showcased at Hi Hat, with the headliner being a cask of Independence Red Bull infused with peach and mint. There will also be special tappings from Austin Beerworks, Hops & Grain, (512), Live Oak, Real Ale, Jester King, Oasis, Revolver, Lone Pint, Buffalo Bayou, Independence and more!

11am Black Sheep Lodge 6th Anniversary Party @Black Sheep Lodge
They will have hourly specials that pair a beer & a liquor together. Food specials will be Sausage on a stick and Elote corn!

12pm Founders’ Brunch @Whole Foods Arbor Trails
It’s never to early for Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout on tap or bottles of Cummudgeon Old Ale.

3pm Goose Island Tapping ( tap a keg of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout!) @Easy Tiger

12-6pm Rogness 3rd Anniversary Party @Rogness Brewing
Advance tickets are $12, includes 3 beers and a Rogness glass mason jar. There will be food trucks, photo booth. Kid & dog friendly.

1-7pm New Braunfels Brewing Company 2nd Anniversary Party @NBBC
For $18 you get your commemorative 2nd Anniversary Glass & three fills from any one of the beers on tap that day. Music all day long.

7pm Beer Flyer – Bluebonnet Beer Company @Austin Steam Train
Tickets are $45, featuring Bluebonnet Beer Co., passengers will enjoy a custom beer tasting led by Master Brewer David Hulama, with food pairings from Toot Sweet Cafe. The train departs Cedar Park Depot at 7pm, will have a brief 15-minute layover at the historic 1912 Bertram Depot, then return at 10pm.
