Austin Beer Wk 2014 imageAustin Beer Week 2014 – Friday October 31st Events.

**Events are subject to change! Always check the calendar before heading out throughout Austin Beer Week 2014! http://austinbeerweek.com**

There are several events going on tonight for Austin Beer Week:

4 PM

Hoppy Hour – @Infamous Brewery

We built our initial brewhouse from the ground up. We also couldn’t afford a shiny new system without asking other people to pay for it. So piece by piece and part by part over a nine-month period, we built the system that we are currently brewing on. Come take a look – it’s pretty cool what a few dudes, nine months and a bunch of beer can do!
Kid & Dog Friendly
Live Music & Food Trucks

5 PM

Adelbert’s Halloween Party & Costume Contest @Adelbert’s Brewing

Feeling too old to trick-or-treat! Well, we have the next best thing for you – Tripel Treat, our Tripel B aged in rum barrels! We’ll be going all out for our Halloween Party and Costume Contest! We’ll award prizes for best costume and best Del look-a-like.

6 PM

Brisket Cider Tapping + Halloween Movie Night @Micklethwait Craft Meats

Back in the day, cider makers fed beef to their ferments to nourish the yeast. Austin Eastciders will be tapping a unique ‘Brisket Cider’ fermented in that traditional style with Micklethwait Craft Meats’ wonderful smoked brisket. The tapping will be combined with a special Halloween screening of cult cannibal comedy movie ‘Parents’, the perfect accompaniment for this flesh-eating cider! In conjunction with Full & Content (free BBQ sausage samples, full menu also available).

Cask Tapping & Tour – NXNW South Coffee Man-Mountain @NXNW

Our first ever cask night at the new NXNW South along with a limited amount of spots to tour the brewery.

Man-Mountain is a hoppy brown ale that has notes of roast and chocolate with the addtion of sharp piney and resinous American hops. It’s light body allows all the hop goodness to shine through. This cask will have our beloved Man-Mountain but with the addition of cold brewed coffee and cocoa shavings to accentuate the chocolate flavors.

Come try it out, along with our whole line of new beers, and meet the NXNW South brewers. Sign up at the bar to get a behind-the-scenes tour of the new brewpub; tour times are 7pm and 8pm (first come, first serve).

Cask Tapping + Meet the Brewers – Real Ale Halloween Surprise @Radio Coffee & Beer

Cask takeover with encouraged costume to celebrate Halloween.

Craft Pride Halloween Costume Party + Pumpkin Beer Tappings @Craft Pride

We will be celebrating Halloween by dressing up and drinking pumpkin beers made right here in the great state of Texas! We will have at least five different pumpkin beers on tap/cask/nitro! Don’t feel like dressing up? Cool, you’re welcome to come and taste the beer and laugh at those who did– like the Craft Pride owners JT & Brandy!

Pint Night – Circle @Fire In The Hole

Fire in the Hole in Round Rock will showcase three of Circle Brewing’s beers. Additionally, with each purchase of a Circle pint, customers will receive a complementary Circle pint glass.

6:30 PM

Cask Tapping + Pint Night – Saint Arnold Pumpkinator @Billy’s On Burnet

A very special Halloween cask tapping of Saint Arnold Pumpkinator served in Saint Arnold glassware — an annual treat at Billy’s On Burnet.

7 PM

Hops & Grain Halloween Party @Hops & Grain Brewing

The epic Halloween party from last year is on repeat this year. With a $20 ticket purchase partygoers will receive a super cool mug that can be used for up to four beers, with additional fills available.
