Beer + Cheese Class + Meet the Brewer – Circle + Antonelli’s

Circle Brewing Co. is having a delicious pairings, featuring four of Circle’s phenomenal local brews and their perfect cheese matches! Ben Sabel of Circle Brewing and Antonelli’s Cheese Educator Maddie will be on-site to sing the praises of the products, discuss the age-old tradition of beer and cheese pairing, and share the stories that brought these delicious sips and bites to your plates.

Deep Ellum Beer Dinner @School House Pub

Deep Ellum is bringing four killer brews, including super popular barrel-aged strong ale Wealth and Taste and the elusive Cherry Chocolate Double Brown Stout, all perfectly paired with four courses. Tickets / Reservation $45, reserve at (512) 469-7630.

Meet the Brewers + Cask Tapping – Oasis, Texas Slow Pine

Come to Hi Hat Public House, take it easy. Come have some Slow Ride from one of Austin’s newest and brightest breweries, Oasis Texas Brewing. It’s no ordinary ride though, as we will be tapping a cask of Pineapple Slow Ride, enhancing the juicy deliciousness of their already popular and pleasant pale ale! Oh, and there’ll be that whole Monday Night Football thing on as well. Come cheer against (or for) the Cowboys!

Real Ale Metal Monday ft. Rare Tappings, DJ Metal @Craft Pride

If you missed this head banger blow-out last year, you’re in luck. Erik Orgershok from Real Ale will be taking over Craft Pride again — NOT just the taps but also the stereo. It’s METAL MONDAY! Erik will be DJ-ing his favorite metal as you taste several super rare beers from Real Ale, including cask and vintage brews! Come sporting your best metal attire, and prepare to ROCK! EPIC Viking beards of the Austin Facial Hair Club will be on display for your viewing pleasure! They will also be screening Metal: A Headbangers Journey documentary in back as VIA313 slings a special one-off pie in the spirit of the METAL theme. Get ready to head bang to all metal, all night.

Farmhouse Beer Dinner

Hopfields hosts a special Farmhouse Beer Dinner featuring the portfolio of the newly formed and local independent distribution company, Flood Distribution and feature a wide variety of farmhouse ales sourced from the Texas Hill Country, Michigan and Europe. The menu will be announced soon as we are fine-tune crafting each course, but for all you wild and spontaneous ale lovers out there, here is a sneak preview of the beer list:

1. Virtue Ciders “Ledbury”: Old world bittersweet apples and new world heirloom varieties fermented with native yeasts from Herefordshire, England.
2. Jester King Snorkel: Farmhouse ale brewed with Alderwood smoked sea salt and locally grown oyster mushrooms.
3. Jester King Special Collaboration: Get excited.
4. Mikkeler Spontanframboos: Raspberry Lambic
5. Jolly Pumpkin Madrugada Obscura: “Dark Dawn” stout aged in oak barrels.

Meet the Brewer + Special Tapping – Hops & Grain Porterculture Party

Brew & Brew is proud to present Hops & Grain’s Porterculture three ways: 1) standard draught, 2) standard draught “dry beaned” with coffee, and 3) on cask with possible special addition(s). We recently collaborated to make a coffee version of Porterculture using a method that is intentionally more subtle than you average coffee porter.
