Austin breweries have a long history of giving back to the community. As local businesses, breweries around town understand the importance of supporting the community that supports them. And it’s not just about support, these breweries are passionate about the work they do to give back and they go the extra mile. So if you love the local craft beer scene, go the extra mile with them by attending one of these events that also give back.

February 15th | MEAD for Australia Fundraiser

February 22nd | The St. Elmo Outsiders Hiking League

“After a 1-2 mile hike at varying locations (dogs and families encouraged!), hikers unwind at the brewery with 50% of sales from those beers purchased then donated to The Trail Foundation.” –Lindsey LeRoy

February 29th | Hops For Houses Craft Beer Festival

Pink Boots Brew, “Caroline” Release Party | Friday, March 6

“Brewed by the women of St Elmo Brewing, “Caroline” is a hoppy ale inspired by craft beer advocate Caroline Wallace who’s been an imperative force behind the Texas Craft Beer Scene. Aira Juliet will be curating a female-focused stand up night, ‘Who’s on Tap?’ from 8-10pm and $1 from every pint sold that night will be donated to the Austin Chapter of the Pink Boots Society.” –Lindsey LeRoy

Pink Boots Collaboration Brew | Pink Velvet | Circle Brewing | March 8th

“In honor of International Women’s Day, we have brewed a collaboration beer to raise awareness for Pink Boots Society – Austin and their mission to assist, inspire, and encourage women beer professionals through education. March 28th | Beer Run – Southern Heights | Part of the 2020 TX Brewery Running Series

“TX Brewery Running Series combines two awesome communities- runners and craft beer lovers. Our events each start and end at a local brewery to show off the surrounding neighborhood, and we welcome runners, walkers, and joggers of all levels. We are very community-oriented and give back 10% of the proceeds from each event to a local charity.” –Texas Brewery Running Series
