The Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival supporting Williamson County Habitat for Humanity

Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival fundraiser is back this February to raise funds for Williamson County Habitat for Humanity and raise a bunch of beer toasts to fun while they’re at it! The Hops for Houses Passport program is also making a comeback! (Keep reading for ticket info. Hint, hint, last year it sold out before Christmas!)

Austin-area breweries do not shy away from opportunities to connect and proudly give back to causes of many shapes and sizes. Even after a pandemic year of such uncertainty, breweries have stepped up to ensure their neighbors are taken care of. You can join in the cause, and have fun…keep reading! Nicole Vommaro, Development & Marketing Director for Habitat for Humanity Williamson County notes, “We are super excited to be able to bring back the Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County at the Williamson County Expo Hall on Feb. 26, 2022!  We’ve had so many people reach out to us asking if it’s coming back in 2022!” She adds, “We are anticipating even more breweries to attend this one – we are aiming for 30!”  

What is Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival, and What To Expect?

This fundraiser festival features craft beer from 20+ Central and North Texas breweries as well as delicious food trucks, live music, and even a raffle! Festival participants are in for such a treat receiving beer sample tickets (3 oz pours) from participating breweries. Click here to get your tickets! Commemorative “House That Beer Built” pint glasses as well as additional sampling tickets will also be available to purchase on-site at the event. Expect two awesome bands, one being Kyle Pyland Music from 1-3 pm and a second band (TBA) to start at 4:30 pm. Keep an eye out on their website for further announcements. 

This year, they’ve also added fun games like corn hole and ax throwing, among others on the exterior covered expo space. Rad, huh? 

On Saturday, February 26 VIP Admission is from 1 pm-630pm and General Admission from 2-630pm. VIP tickets are PRE-SALE ONLY!

What is the “Hops for Houses Passport Program”?

Starting November 12, 2021 Hops for Houses Passports can be purchased. This collaborative endeavor between Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County and Central Texas breweries marries festive times with a wonderful cause. 

Passports are valid for one free beer at each participating establishment, with all proceeds directly benefitting home builds for Williamson County Habitat for Humanity. If you visit all participating breweries you’ll be entered to win some stellar prizes!
