After a hitaus due to the pandemic, the Big Texas Beer Fest returns to Dallas at the Fair Park Automobile Building on March 26, 2022. Featuring over 450 beers, ciders, seltzers, hard kombucha, and more from over 100 breweries, the festival expects to draw over 5,000 attendees. Founded in 2012, the festival has raised almost $60,000 for the North Texas Food Bank and was named as Dallas Observer’s best beer festival two years in a row.

One of the festival organizers, Chad Montgomery, added, “After our tenth year, Big Texas Beer Fest has become a tradition among friends and brewers alike. We love making our festival’s mantra of ‘Connecting people through beer’ a reality.” Chad’s wife and event co-founder Nellie added, “Keeping up with the breweries throughout the year comes naturally when you’re friends with them. We plan all year for this huge party where we can show the attendees what our friends have been working on day in and day out.” The couple hopes that the spirit of camaraderie and friendship carries through all the way down to the attendee experience at Big Texas Beer Fest.

Tickets for the festival are on sale now and VIP tickets are still currently available. General admission tickets are $42 VIP tickets are $75. VIP tickets enable attendees to gain entrance to the event one hour early to enjoy all the rare and unique beers with minimal lines. Don’t wait to get your tickets as they always sell out in advance, get your tickets today! A portion of the proceeds goes to the North Texas Food Bank. In addition to award-winning beers from all over the world, the festival will also feature local food trucks and local and regional bands. Music and food trucks can be found in the outdoor food and music pavilion. Free Play Richardson (a vintage arcade) is scheduled to be there in full force creating a vintage ‘Arcade Alley’ in partnership with TUPPS Brewery where attendees can relive arcade favorites from their youth.

The festival’s hours are from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with VIPs entering the doors at 2:00 pm. Parking will be available at Fair Park for $10, but the Montgomery’s recommend people use the DART rail or catch a Lyft or Uber. The DART rail has a stop on the Green Line at Fair Park, dropping attendees just steps away from the venue.
