Coming soon to Austin, Texas | Nomadic Beerworks
3804 Woodbury Drive

Situated on the edge of South Congress and Ben White Boulevard is the newest brewery to join the South Austin beer scene.

Nomadic Beerworks was founded by brothers Bryce and Dan Tyranski who wanted to realize their dream of brewing creative beers influenced by their love of travel.  “We started talking about opening a brewery when we were hiking the continental divide as teenagers,” muses Dan. “About two years ago, we decided to put pen to paper and start moving forward,” says Bryce.

Everything about the brewery is anchored around the feeling of community and camaraderie they experienced while backpacking through Europe (where they visited over twenty countries over the course of two months).

“Our experience in hostels really drove our approach to beer and the brewery, fostering the open exchange of ideas and sharing your journey. We want to tell our stories through the beer we make – a modern take on nomadism,” Bryce states.

In keeping with that philosophy, the space will be open and inviting, encouraging conversations. The beer will focus on American styles with approximately seven taps during the opening launch. With a 7BBL brewhouse, the concept is to have a consistently rotating selection of American styles, with a few interesting variants over time including sours. The duo is particularly excited to partner with Kimchi Jon’s, the onsite permanent food truck that opened for business this past Friday.
