Each year, women from the Pink Boots Society collaborate with Yakima Cheif Hops (YCH) to select the annual blend recipe. For the 6th annual blend, YCH sent virtual selection kits to PBS chapters across the globe and then hosted the final hop rub at the Great American Beer Festival.
The 6th Annual Pink Boots Blend consists of Loral®, Ekuanot®, and HBC 586 with an expected brewing value of 10.7% alpha acids and expected citrus, floral, stone fruit, and tropical aromas.
The blend is now available for pre-sale with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Pink Boots Society scholarship program. The deadline to submit orders is December 31, allowing time to process and ship the blend before International Women’s Day on March 8th.

The Pink Boots Society also invites you to join the industry-wide movement of empowering women in beer by hosting your own Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day! Each year, on or around International Women’s Day, breweries all over the world host their own celebratory brew days using the blend.
