Popular Austin Craft Brewery and BBQ Joint Rolls Out Updated Menu with Beer Pairings.
Billy’s Brewery & Smokehouse, an Austin staple known for its mouthwatering eats and specialty craft brews, has announced that it will be offering a new Smokehouse menu, complete with beer pairings for select items. Fans of longtime Uncle Billy’s favorites will still find popular original items on the updated menu, along with twelve special additions.
Inspired by the array of craft beers brewed onsite in the new Uncle Billy’s brewery, many of the new menu items are made with Uncle Billy’s craft beer. Beer infused menu items include Ale French Onion Soup, Beer Battered Oysters, P.E.I. Mussels and the Barton Cristo, Uncle Billy’s take on the classic Monte Cristo sandwich battered in Uncle Billy’s Humbucker Helles craft beer.
“With the recent expansion our brewery, we felt that this was the perfect time to update the Uncle Billy’s menu,” says Uncle Billy’s founder and owner Rick Engel. “You can still get your favorite brisket sandwich other BBQ items, but now you can also have mussels, smoked meat or a great French onion soup that pairs nicely with the craft beers we brew onsite.”
In addition to the new Smokehouse menu, Uncle Billy’s will now offer a brunch menu featuring classic brunch items with a twist. Brunch menu highlights include Chicken and Waffles and the Morning Cristo, a breakfast Monte Cristo made with ham and eggs. Live music will now run from 2pm to 6pm, allowing brunch goers to enjoy the show.
