Love it or hate it, it’s the time of year where the city of Austin gets overtaken by music fans from all over the country during the annual Austin City Limits Music Festival. The festival has evolved over the years and continues to grow, adding new experiences including live podcasts, the Hi, How Are You lounge, honoring the late Daniel Johnston, and multiple new local food options to ACL eats.

Unfortunately, the one thing that hasn’t expanded this year is the local craft beer selection. Last year you may recall when Austin Beerworks Co-Founder Michael Graham called out the festival for referring to Karbach Brewing as their craft beer sponsor due to the fact that the brewery is now owned by Anheuser Busch’s Brewers Collective (formerly The High End). Beginning last year, Karbach brews took over most of the selections in the Barton Springs Beer Hall, and that will be the case again this year (the link to the Beer Hall even takes you directly to Karbach’s website).

However, there are still a handful of craft beer selections that will be available in the Beer Hall, among them a few Austin favorites. Also new to the Beer Hall will be food selections courtesy of the historic Scholz Garten featuring bratwursts and pretzels.

Be sure to visit the Barton Creek Beer Hall each day for Meet the Brewer!
