UPDATE: TABC has relaxed more rules allowing breweries and even bars to start to reopen,
Eliminate the requirement for commercial-grade cooking equipment
Allow premade food brought in from other locations and partner with food trucks and count those sales toward the 51% minimum
Governor Abbot’s executive order affecting bars and taprooms is still in place; however, after changing the guidelines more than once some breweries and brewpubs have started to slowly reopen for on-site consumption (things are changing daily, check with the brewery).
Know the rules of engagement!
Wear your mask. Period.
You must be seated to receive service with no more than ten people at a table.
Check with the brewery before heading out to ensure you are following their specific guidelines (reservations required, etc.)
Want more breweries to reopen? Here’s how you can help with your voice:
Open for onsite consumption:
Iron Bridge Icehouse (Bastrop)
Texas Beer Company (sidewalk seating)
