Are there Negative Impacts as Breweries Race for New Beer Releases?

This is a guest post by Brian Trivitt. Things change fast these days. Gone are the times when people worked at the same place for their entire career or there were just a small handful of television shows to choose from. Today, we are inundated with constant new choices and beer is certainly no exception. Thanks to smartphones and social media, we are literally just a swipe of a screen away from seeing what’s new.

A Visit To The Brewtorium

A Visit To The Brewtorium

This is a guest post by J. Darris Mitchell. I showed up to the Brewtorium ready to rock. I’m an avid environmental volunteer and a good friend of mine (and go-to Hop Head, Tam T.) invited me out to a naturalist trivia night. Craft Beer Predictions: What lies ahead in 2019?

Much has changed in the Craft Beer scene both in Austin and beyond in the last several years. When we moved to Austin in 2012, there were maybe 17 breweries and now in 2019 we are at or approaching 70. But that’s just Austin…other Texas cities such as Dallas and Houston have seen similar or higher growth. Much of that, along with an increase of out-of-state Breweries, is available to the Austin Craft Beer consumer.

Best Places to Drink Beer and Eat Pizza in Austin Much like the horse and carriage, the Captain and Tenille, and Will and Grace, our beloved elixir (that’s beer) goes together with pizza like no other. Legend has it that beer got its start when people steeped leftover bread in water. You had the grain, the yeast, add the water, throw in some herbs for flavor and BAM!,

Update: I have confirmed with management that B.B. Rover’s is no longer planning to close. They are hiring and expanding their hours.  “Our property owners have agreed to let us keep operating as we try to work out the details for a potential sale of the business. Our kitchen has been closed for a while, but we are looking at having limited food items for various times. We will have chicken or beef fajitas available this Friday
