Austin Beerworks Announces New Location
The taproom will be located at 10300 Springdale Rd., northeast of where highways 183 and 290 intersect
To dive right into what you want to know at the heart of this story – the current location of Austin Beerworks is not closing. It will remain open as a working brewery and taproom for years to come. TLDR: the new location will be situated in Northeast Austin on a huge plot of land with a competition-level disc golf course and you can be part of the new location development by joining their Beerworks for Life program.

Press release below:
The brewery will move into an existing 20,000-square-foot building situated at the top of a hill on 64 acres of undeveloped land bordered by Springdale Rd. to the east and Walnut Creek to the west. With a goal to create the greatest beer playground in town, Austin Beerworks plans to build a competition-level disc golf course in partnership with Mint Discs, central Texas’ premier disc golf outfitter, as well as hiking and biking trails throughout the property.
The 2,900 square-feet air-conditioned taproom will feature 20 taps, including some of Austin’s favorite beers like Pearl Snap and Fire Eagle, in addition to many new Research and Development (RAD) beers as well as cider, wine, and non-alcoholic options. The outdoor beer garden features nearly 4 acres of fenced and manicured yard for patrons of all ages to enjoy.
Food will be available and provided on a rotating basis by some of Austin’s finest mobile food vendors. While opening dates are always subject to permitting, the taproom is expected to open in Spring 2023 and will be open 7 days a week.
Austin Beerworks also unveiled its new “Beerworks for Life” program. For $1000, Beerworks for Life members referred to as “Lifers,” will enjoy 1 free beer per day for life at either Austin Beerworks Taproom and all of their beers will be served in a specially designed 20 oz mug that only Lifers will have access to. Lifers will also receive a custom-branded stainless steel business card to show off and make their friends super jealous!
“It’s always been our dream to be an independent craft brewery that brews world-class beer,” said co-founder Adam DeBower. “The dynamic nature of Austin’s real estate market has taught us the hard way that the only way to secure the future for our brewery is to own the land upon which the beer is brewed. While we know this investment is good for the long term, we’re left in the immediate term needing help to get the new doors open and the taps flowing. And that’s
when we saw the opportunity to get our super-supportive community involved by introducing Beerworks for Life!”
