Big Country Organic Brewing Co. recently released two new USDA Organic-certified beers as they continue to build out their portfolio. Big Country West Coast IPA is an homage to the decades-long history of the bright, bitter, clear IPAs from California that launched a category and opened the door to a new era of craft beer. At 7.7% it packs a punch and has a big flavor with notes of dank pine and sun-ripened grapefruit.
Traversing the country to the Northeast, Big Country’s Hazy IPA brings the playful spirit of the juicy and hazy IPAs that have become so beloved. It is hoppy, yet well-balanced and has aromas of spruce and notes of fresh squeezed orange juice.

Big Country soared into the beer space in April with the release of their TexMex Lager, an easy-drinking Mexican-style lager that’s been given the Texas treatment with subtle spice and a crisp dry finish. The brewery has big plans for 2024 with additional beers slated for release as well as several UDSA Organic and Fair Trade-certified seltzer cocktails to complement the brand’s successful hard seltzer line.
“There are a lot of great craft breweries out there, but there aren’t enough of them meeting the high standards to qualify as organic. We want to change that. We are proving that with better ingredients and better processes, we can make better tasting beverages that are better for you and better for the planet.” -Bill Gillies, Founder and CEO
