Black Pumas & 4th Tap Brewing Beer for Justice

While 2020 has been overshadowed by plight and uncertainty it has also brought creativity and innovation. Watching as the brewery world consistently collaborates using its position to bring awareness to meaningful causes is truly inspiring. Breweries and artists alike are fighting to survive and many are doing their best to also make the world a better place in the process.

Supporting our local artists and creators is crucial. A world without music, beer, good food, or art is a world that I would not want to imagine. Beer and music bring people together & prove just how effortlessly they lend themselves to the partnership.

The newest beer & music collaboration combines a trifecta of Austin talent. 2020 Grammy Nominated Black Pumas, and the brewing team at 4th Tap Brewing Co-op bring us the beer, while can artwork was provided by a seasoned artist, Rory Blank. The groups have joined forces to bring us a seasonal summer beer. The ‘Stay Gold’ Hoppy Pale Ale, obtains its namesake from the band’s hit song. The beer has been described by representatives as “a crisp and crushable pale ale, with a blend of modern cryo hops and traditional dry hopping. There are notes of tropical fruit, citrus, dank, with hints of floral.” Sounds like a perfect hot summer Austin special! In addition to its release, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Austin Justice Coalition, AAYHF, and Austin NAACP.

The collaboration will be available on Friday, August 7th directly from 4th Tap Brewing Co as well as from all leading beer and wine retailers throughout Texas including HEB, Whole Foods, and independent liquor stores, bars, restaurants, and music venues (while supplies last).
