Planning ahead can also be the difference in getting a ride to and from a summer concert series and getting pulled over for a DUI.
Always have a designated driver
A great way to ensure everyone’s safety is to have at least one friend planning on being the designated driver. If the temptation is too much, be sure to utilize services such as Uber, Lyft, or even a local taxi cab.
Know your limit
If you’re not already familiar, your BAC, blood alcohol concentration is affected by various factors that range in your weight, alcohol consumed, duration, and so on. In every state, you are considered legally impaired if your level reaches 0.08%.
It’s also important to note that most states have a “zero tolerance” law. If you are under the legal age in your state, this means you shouldn’t have any trace of alcohol in your system.
