Four months after closing their original Sixth Street bakery due to the coronavirus pandemic, Easy Tiger will return to downtown Austin. The popular bakeshop and beer garden’s new location is a few blocks away at 1501 East Seventh Street in the former 7co event venue. The massive space features a 15,000 square foot enclosed yard, 2,500 square feet of indoor space, and more than 1,000 square feet of covered terraces. Easy Tiger plans to use the new location for private events as well as public dining beginning in February.

The East Seventh outlet will be Easy Tiger’s third location, joining the flagship restaurant in the Linc shopping center in Highland Park as well as a South Lamar location that opened in October. The arrival of Easy Tiger East will enhance what was already one of the most vibrant parts of Austin’s craft beer scene. The bakery will be within walking distance of Zilker Brewing, Lazarus Brewing, the beer bar/coffee shop hybrid Wright Bros. Brew & Brew, and dozens of other restaurants and bars.
