The GABF 2015 – Paired – Craft Beer + Food Event was coordinated by Chef Adam Dulye, Brewers Association executive chef).
During GABF 2015, we were fortunate to be invited to the Paired event (formerly called Farm To Table Pavilion).
Hidden way in the back of the Colorado Convention Center, the Paired event was set up with 21 tables, each featuring an independent craft brewery “paired” with featured chefs across the country.
We enjoyed small plates with thoughtful craft beer pairings while we mingled with the chefs and brewers. The beers served were special releases that were not available in the main GABF festival hall.
This event is a must do if you are planning a trip to GABF for 2016. It is definitely worth the value. We couldn’t eat all the food that was offered but we did try most of the beer! The set up was spacious and not over crowded. We were able to take our time and enjoy the beer with the selected food pairings.
As an added bonus we ran into Sam Calagione from Dogfish Head Brewery while we enjoyed some Bitches Brew!
Chef Adam Dulye did a fantastic job coordinating this event. Paired is one of the largest craft beer and food pairing events that brings in more chefs from more states than many others and is only topped within Colorado by one event. There were 22 chefs from 11 states and 21 brewers from 12 states in Paired this year.
