New Hill Country Brewery | Lago Vista Brewing Company

A new addition to the Central Texas brewery scene is open now. Lago Vista Brewing Company, founded by Samantha and Mark Norman, and Dylan Byerly, will be located at 8001 Bronco Lane in the Texas Hill Country of Lago Vista, Texas.
“We have always had a deep love for the Texas Hill Country,” M. Norman said. “Lago Vista has it all – beautiful rolling hills, the lake, and friendly people. All it’s missing is beer! We are here to answer that call.”
On their first evening of soft research to decide if Lago Vista was the place for them, the founders of LVBC had dinner at Highland Lakes Grille where they quickly realized they didn’t need to research anywhere else.
“We took part in karaoke [at Highland Lakes Grille], and needless to say, we never looked back,” M. Norman said. “The energy and musical stylings were a major selling point for us.”
LVBC will have a 3,000 sq. ft. taproom, a 2,000 sq. ft. brewhouse, and a 6,000 sq. ft. beer garden outside. The space will allow for a large number of guests at any time.
“We are cultivating a family-friendly, community-driven spot that Lago Vista has been in need of for some time,” M. Norman said. “Our beer garden will be the perfect place to gather with your friends and family over a cold glass of something delicious.”
While light German lagers are their passion, there will be other beers, wine, cider, and a few non-alcoholic options available. Along with drinks, LVBC will have pretzels and savory breads inside made by Cakes Cookie Co. There will even be two spots available for food trucks. The founders of LVBC are excited and anxiously waiting to open up the brewery to the community around them.
“This has been a fun project to dream up and work on all around,” M. Norman said. “What really motivates us is just hearing from folks in the Lago area that are just as enthusiastic about our project as we are.”
