Lazarus Brewing Expands with Second Location
Opening Friday, November 18 at 7:30 a.m.
Located at 4803 Airport Blvd.

Lazarus Brewing is an East Austin fan favorite serving up coffee, tacos, and beer since 2016 when they opened their doors the day before Christmas. Since then, Lazarus has become a go-to for people to gather and relax, or pop open a laptop and get some work done in their cozy and inviting taproom. With their expansion to a new central location, more Austinites can now enjoy the same relaxed vibe in a much larger space.
Formerly the beloved I Luv Video location, which was forced to close during the pandemic in 2020, the new Lazarus features expansive indoor and outdoor seating areas that feel quite similar to the original location. Their famous street tacos remain on the new menu that includes a host of new options, including larger plates like carne asada and Mexican fried rice. If beer for life interests you, Laz 2 is bringing back the Patron Saint program for $1,200 per person and includes a one-of-a-kind glass and you guessed it, beer for life.
A brand new 15BBL brewhouse, flanked by two sets of 15BBL stacked fermenters, is front and center when you visit the taproom. Several slender 30BBL fermenters are viewable from the front facade of the brewery, with other fermenters and brites currently stored in the building dubbed “909” for future capacity expansion, along with another half dozen brites in the cold room. And the original location will continue to brew on the 10BBL brewhouse on the East side. With all that capacity, we can all expect a lot more Lazarus beers in the future.
