Pinthouse Expands into Cedar Park with Major New Brewery, Restaurant and First-Ever Beer Garden
New Williamson County facility will expand production capacity while bringing Pinthouse’s signature pizza and award-winning beer to one of Central Texas’ fastest-growing communities
Pinthouse, the award-winning Texas craft brewery and #1 largest brewpub by annual brewing volume in the United States, is officially expanding into Cedar Park with a major new brewery and restaurant destination slated to open in the second half of 2027. Located at 1605 E. New Hope Dr., the project will serve as a new hospitality destination for residents throughout Cedar Park, Leander, and the greater Williamson County region.
The project marks a significant milestone for the Texas-born brewery and hospitality brand, combining expanded production capabilities with a full-service Pinthouse Pizza experience — including the company’s first-ever dedicated outdoor beer garden.
Designed to support growing demand for Pinthouse beer across Central Texas and beyond, the new facility will increase brewing capacity while serving as a community-driven gathering place for Cedar Park and Leander residents. Guests can expect the same hop-forward beers, handcrafted pizzas and energetic atmosphere that have made Pinthouse one of Texas’ most celebrated brewpub brands, now paired with an expansive outdoor space built for liveable, all-day hospitality.
“We’ve watched Williamson County continue to grow and evolve over the years, and we’re incredibly excited to finally bring Pinthouse to the Cedar Park community,” says Kyle Detrick, President of Retail Operations for Pinthouse. “This project allows us to expand our brewing capabilities while creating one of the most ambitious hospitality spaces we’ve ever built. The outdoor beer garden especially is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, and we think it’s going to become a true gathering place for the community.”
In addition to increasing production for fresh cans and kegs throughout the region, the new location represents Pinthouse’s continued evolution from a single Austin brewpub into one of the most recognized craft brewery brands in Texas.
The Cedar Park development will also bring together several longtime leaders in the Texas hospitality scene. Pinthouse will join concepts from the Jack Allen’s Restaurant Group, including new locations of Salt Traders Coastal Cooking and Day Maker Half Day Cafe.
“Being able to grow alongside teams at Salt Traders and Day Maker who we’ve respected for years makes this expansion even more special,” Detrick added. “We’ve always valued the collaborative spirit of the Texas food and beverage industry, and are excited to be part of creating a destination that brings together several great local brands in one place.”
Founded in Austin in 2012 by six friends, Pinthouse has grown into a nationally recognized brewery and restaurant group known for award-winning beers and Austin-style pizzas. In 2024, Pinthouse was named the #1 brewpub in the United States by beer production volume, while its flagship Electric Jellyfish earned recognition as the #1 beer in the country in 2025. Most recently, the brewery led the 2026 Texas Craft Brewers Cup with five medals — the most awarded to any brewery in the competition.

Additional project details can be found via the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and construction updates will be shared in the coming months. For more information about Pinthouse, visit www.pinthouse.com or follow @pinthousebrewing and @pinthousepizza on social media.
