Long-running fall tradition will bring hundreds of craft, seasonal and specialty beers to downtown San Antonio while benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank

SAN ANTONIO — One of San Antonio’s longest-running fall fests returns as the 21st Annual San Antonio Beer Festival takes over Hemisfair on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Established in 2005, the San Antonio Beer Festival has grown into an annual local tradition, bringing together thousands of beer lovers for an expansive selection of craft, imported, regional, seasonal and specialty brews. This year’s festival will once again transform Hemisfair into a lively tasting experience featuring hundreds of beers alongside food, music, games, interactive activations and opportunities to discover something new. The festival benefits San Antonio Food Bank, helping support its work to fight hunger throughout Southwest Texas.

“For 21 years, the San Antonio Beer Festival has given people a reason to gather, explore new beers and enjoy one of the best fall days in the city,” said SA Beer Fest marketing director Cassandra Wagner. “Reaching this milestone is incredibly special, and we’re proud that the festival can bring our community together while also supporting the vital work of the Food Bank.”

Festivalgoers can choose from three ticket experiences:
– General Admission, offering access to the festival and its extensive beer selection
– GA Plus, featuring an upgraded festival experience
– VIP, providing premium benefits and early access

This year’s growing beverage lineup features a mix of nationally recognized names, celebrated Texas breweries and San Antonio favorites, including 512 Brewing Company, Alamo Beer Company, Altstadt Brewery, Back Unturned Brewing Co., Black Laboratory Brewing, Breakaway Brewing Company, City Orchard, Dos Sirenos Brewing, Guinness, Karbach Brewing Co., Longtab Brewing Company, Martin House Brewing Company, Meanwhile Brewing Co., New Belgium Brewing, Pinthouse Brewing, Real Ale Brewing Company, Saint Arnold Brewing Company, St. Elmo Brewing Company and Twisted X Brewing Company.

Beyond traditional beer, attendees can also sample popular alternatives from White Claw, The Finnish Long Drink and Cayman Jack, with additional breweries, beverages, restaurants and festival experiences still to be announced.

The San Antonio Beer Festival is designed for everyone from devoted craft-beer enthusiasts to casual drinkers interested in sampling new flavors. Attendees can build their own tasting experience, revisit familiar favorites and meet representatives from participating breweries and beverage brands—all while helping support hunger-relief efforts in the region.

“Beer Festival is about much more than what’s in the tasting cup,” Wagner added. “It’s the experience of spending the day with friends, discovering something unexpected and being part of a San Antonio tradition that has now lasted more than two decades.”
