Not too much movement on this week’s TABC label and brewery approvals. We have a newcomer to label approvals, though. Malai Kitchen (in DFW) received their first label approvals. This Asian restaurant has bee brewing for quite some time but has only sold their beer on site. They have recently opened up a second location which is likely why they are getting label approvals (as opposed for distribution).
St. Elmo, in Austin, received their brewpub approval. This future brewery in South Austin is the workings of two ex-Austin Beerworks employees. They are aiming for a summer opening.
