Austin Beer Week 2014 – Friday October 24th Events!
There are several events going on tonight for Austin Beer Week:
4 PM
Pint Night – (512) @Black Sheep Lodge
Get a free (512) pint glass with your purchase of a (512) pint.
Hoppy Hour – Infamous @Infamous Brewing
We built our initial brewhouse from the ground up. We also couldn’t afford a shiny new system without asking other people to pay for it. So piece by piece and part by part over a nine-month period, we built the system that we are currently brewing on. Come take a look – it’s pretty cool what a few dudes, nine months and a bunch of beer can do! Kid & Dog Friendly. Live Music & Food Trucks.
5 PM
Brewery Tour – @Adelbert’s Brewing
Take a tour of Adelbert’s Brewery and sample beer fresh from the source. No reservations needed. Tours at approx. 1:45pm and approx. every 45 minutes after. Food trucks are on hand, with a TV, darts, foosball and A/C inside, and several picnic tables under our hand-built pergola outside. Kids welcome. Dogs welcome outside. If you have a glass from us, feel free to bring it with you for us to fill for $2 off! See our social media for updates on food trucks and any special beers being poured.
5:30 PM
Cask Tapping – Jester King Wytchmaker Farmhouse Rye IPA @Billy’s On Burnet
As if you need to know which brew! It’s cask, it’s from Jester King and it’s at Billy’s On Burnet — a great way to kick off Austin Beer Week!
Meet the Brewer – Saint Arnold @Austin Homebrew
Austin Homebrew Supply is proud to have Saint Arnold Brewing onsite for an in-store tasting and education event. Samples from the brewery will be offered to all legal-aged patrons, including some of Saint Arnolds finest beers. Come on down and enjoy a little bit of the tasty life.
6 PM
Austin Beer Week Official Opening Party @Craft Pride
Join us as we celebrate five years of Austin Beer Week tonight at the Official Opening Party at Craft Pride! Throwing down in a BIG way, Craft Pride is rolling out rare and cellared brews (like Revolver’s Fracker Barrel One, amping up some killer music and releasing all kind of craft beer love for Austin. There is no other place to be as we celebrate five years — yeah, FIVE years! — of Austin Beer Week. Come toast with us!
Official Austin Beer Week Toast:
Hear ye, hear ye! All lovers of craft beer
What you drink in your hand is the reason we’re here
We oath our support for the yeasty and hopped
For the malty, the cask — for every last drop.
‘Tis time to pay homage to this frothy delight
That has gotten us through both bright times & blight
A salute to Austin & its glorious craft beer
Clink your glass with a neighbor now
…and Cheers!
