There are also some new breweries on this list including Rough Diamond (Blanco County), Ruggedman (San Marcos/New Braunfels area) and El Paso Brewing. Looks like the TABC is back to their weekly schedules of label releases. I believe this is the first that we have seen Absolution Brewing show up (a small brewery in California). Also, I think people will be happy to see Pinthouse Pizza’s Nomura Imperial Jellyfish IPA in bombers. You may have noticed a three week gap since the last TABC label approval. It appeared that nothing was coming through for the longest time (which would not have surprised me considering who we are dealing with). But, alas, they showed up. All three weeks worth. I got a little delayed last week, so this week you get a delayed release of last week’s TABC approvals. One main note, even though Bell’s Hopslam does appear on this list, do not get your hopes up that we will see it this year. There are a couple of things that stand out on this week’s TABC label and brewery approval. First, it looks like we will be getting 16oz cans of Austin Beerwork’s collaboration with New Belgium called Double Unicycle IPL.
