Beer Data and Statistics
A little bit late on this week’s edition. We are starting to see cans from a couple of new breweries to canning – 5 Stones, Flying Man, Texas Beer Company, Good Neighbors, and Revolver. Oh, and Founder’s CBS is approved in Texas. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format (12oz) can cc = 16oz format […]
This is probably one of the longer weeks for actual brewery approvals. Four new Texas breweries were approved, along with another brewery getting approval for a location change. To go along with that, FiftyFifty Brewing (California) now has approval to come into Texas. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format (12oz) can cc = 16oz […]
Looks like 5 Stones is starting to get label approval for their new location in New Braunfels (which will be a huge improvement over their original location). We are continuing to see some new approvals from places about to open like Frontyard (Austin), Ingenious (Houston area) and the recently opened Flying Man (Austin). This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format […]
It looks like De Garde/Jester King’s collaboration Elements of Composition finally has label approval. You may notice the black square and a couple of words censored. Those are the Jester King logo and Jester King’s name….thanks to obscure TABC rules, Jester King cannot be listed on the label. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format […]
More labels for you to enjoy. Looks like we are starting to see Abyss variants showing up in bottles…which is always nice. We have a first can from Texas Beer Company (in Taylor) as well. And, what appears to be a 6L bottle of a Wild Ale from Lakewood Brewing Company. If you wanted a breakdown by numbers of what happened at GABF for Texas (and how we did against other states), I wrote a […]
We are starting to see some beers showing up from Humble’s new Ingenious Brewing. They are not quite open but have already heard good things about them. Along with them, I just hope some of these St. Arnold beers make it beyond the taproom. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format (12oz) can cc = […]
Well, I missed another week. Not due to laziness this time, but just due to there only being 30 or so last week…and felt it would be better just to leave them for another week. With that said, we seem to have been overloaded with keg approvals from brewpubs this week. Braindead, St. Elmo, El Paso Brewing, along with a couple of newer places like Flying Man. We are also seeing the first can approvals […]
Looks like Texas will be seeing Bell’s Black Note this year, based off of the approvals. Along with that, Austin’s Suds Monkey is starting to get can approvals for their new brewery. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format (12oz) can cc = 16oz format can C = Larger format can 10 Barrel Brewing Llc […]
It was a holiday weekend, so I didn’t get around to doing this until a day later. With that said, a solid list of approvals came through over the last week. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format (12oz) can cc = 16oz format can C = Larger format can 512 Brewing Company – 512 […]
It’s been a rough week for a big portion of Texas, especially Houston. Many breweries/beer bars around the state are putting on events to help raise money for Houston, I highly recommend you go have some beers for a cause. With that said, here are the label approvals. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format […]
Not nearly as many approvals as we have been seeing lately. With that said, we had 3 new Texas breweries receiving their licenses from the TABC. It is definitely out of the norm to see that many getting approval in one week. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format (12oz) can cc = 16oz format […]
It appears that the TABC has finally gotten their acts together (as far as label approvals go….everything else is still a mess). Hops & Grain received a couple of approvals within 48 hours and St. Elmo had a turnaround on one label of less than 24 hours. Compare this to the beginning of the year….where approvals were taking upwards of 40 days to receive. The good news? It is much easier for breweries to make […]
