Participating Breweries & Releases

The Brewtorium Brewery & Kitchen: COLDen Girls – Cold IPA

Clear and crisp like a lager with distinct hop flavor & aroma, this Cold IPA is perfect for enjoying in the warm, Texas Spring! Notes of honey, sweet peach & lemon are imparted by a combination of the 2020 & 2021 Yakima Chief Pink Boots Hop Blends. Brewed with the ladies of The Brewtorium, COLDen Girls is an IPA fermented cold with lager yeast and generously dry-hopped coming in at 6% ABV & 50 IBU.

Central Machine Works – Belgian Saison, 7.5%, fruit, bubblegum, spices

Women from across the fermented beverage industry in Austin convened in our brewery, on March 8th, 2022, for International Women’s Day. Friendships were made. Fun was had. Beer was drunk. A beer was brewed.
The result is our Belgian Saison, a special beer release in partnership with Pink Boot Society – A portion of proceeds will benefit their educational scholarships.
7.5% ABV with notes of fruit, bubblegum, and spice.

Hold Out Brewing – Persistence in Bloom IPA

Meanwhile Brewing Company: Hard Candy – Peach Lychee IPA

On March 8, female employees in every department of Meanwhile Brewing Co. will come together in the brewhouse to craft their new beer, Hard Candy – a lower ABV IPA bursting with fruit flavors of white peach and lychee, brewed with hops from the Yakima Chief Hops “Pink Boots Blend”. Throughout Hard Candy’s creation, Meanwhile’s female employees have worked to design, name, and produce the label artwork for this project.

Vacancy Brewing: Puddle Splasher – Schwarzbier

This Schwarzbier combines classic flavors true to the style – dark caramel and medium roast coffee – with less expected notes of grapefruit, woodsy pine, and apricot from the 2021 Yakima Chief Pink Boots Hop Blend. 5.3% ABV

Vista Brewing: Zwickeled Pink – Dry-Hopped Pilsner

Vista’s Zwickeled Pink is an unfiltered and unpasteurized Czech-style lager, dry-hopped with the 2022 Pink Boots Hops Blend (HBC 630, Idaho Gem®, Loral®, Talus®, and Triumph) creating a hoppy lager with grassy, papaya and earthy notes. Easy drinking and lightly hoppy…the perfect beer for spring and summer under the oaks! 4.8% abv.

About Pink Boots Society
We are here to ASSIST, INSPIRE, & ENCOURAGE women and/or non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage profession through EDUCATION.
About Collaboration Brew Day
Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day® was born from our members’ desire to take part in International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8th by raising the profile of women’s roles in the beer industry. Chapters and members of Pink Boots Society get together along with supporting breweries and individuals, put on their pink boots, and brew their chosen beer style. Pink Boots Society splits proceeds from sales of this collaboration brew with participating chapters. The revenue is applied to educational scholarships and programming for its members.
About the Yakima Chief Hop Blend
Yakima Chief Hops donates $3 from every pound sold to Pink Boots Society for education and programming. YCH recently presented Pink Boots with a $124,296 check from proceeds from the sale of last year’s 4th annual hop blend. These funds are used to support our future scholarship efforts.
