W Austin’s TRACE restaurant has created a new monthly dinner series featuring Austin’s breweries, vineyards and distilleries. Independence Brewing Company is launching the series this Friday featuring a one-of-a-kind beer paring dinner.

Friday’s dinner will includes a welcome cocktail and 3-course menu, as well as presentations from TRACE Chef de Cuisine Tim Crittenden, Executive Pastry Chef Wade Greenwood and  Independence Brewing Co.’s Amy Cartwright will be on-hand.

Upon Arrival:  Welcome Cocktail and passed oysters on the half shell with michelada granite, using Native Texan (5.2% Pilsner)

First Course:  Spanish Mackerel Ceviche with Avocado Puree, Leche de Tigre, Pickled Chili’s, Hearts of Palm, Smoked Trout Roe, Spiced Chicharons, served with Redbud Passion Fruit Guava (4.9% Berliner Weisse)

Second Course: Grilled “Boudin” Stuffed Quail with Cornbread Puree and Collard Greens, served with Stash (7.5% India Pale Ale)

Dessert:  Convict Hill (8% Oatmeal Stout) Fudge Cake with brown sugar buttercream

Tickets are $55 per person, tax + gratuity not included, Reservations can be secured via Open Table
