Pink Boot’s Society Big Boots Brew Day kicked off this weekend with participants all over the world in honor of International Women’s Day.
Big Boots Brew day occurs the weekend before IWD in order to get as much participation as possible and serves as a fundraiser for the Scholarship Program.
The Central Texas Pink Boots chapter, headed by Tara Carr and Caroline Wallace, kicked off this year’s event brewing the selected style, a Gose, at Blue Owl Brewing on Friday March 4, 2016 with participants from Independence Brewing, Circle Brewing, Uncle Billy’s, Black Star Co-op, The Brewtorium, Craft Beer Austin and more. The event continues on Saturday brewing a Berliner Weisse at Middleton Brewing with participants from the San Marcos Taproom, and Fifty Foot Marketing.
