Pink Boots Society Rush Week: September 18-22
The Austin chapter of Pink Boots Society, a nonprofit that aims to assist, inspire and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education, is hosting a fun play on college rush week September 18-22, 2024.
“Women and Folks who identify as Nonbinary in the fermented/alcohol industry: would you like to meet others like yourself? We’re out here! And we are having 5 meet and greets across the city of Austin all within one week. Come out and meet us and learn more about the Austin chapter of Pink Boots Society. We’re here to answer your questions and help you get connected in the industry. We are part of an international nonprofit with a mission for education and advancement in your career. If you’re not employed in the industry, but aspire to be, this organization is here for you, too! What better way to start than to meet the people in your local chapter? We can’t wait to meet you.”

Women and nonbinary individuals work in all aspects of the alcohol industry from owners to packaging, cellaring, sales, and taproom management. The Pink Boots Society was established for these professionals to assist, inspire, and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education.
Pink Boots Society Austin Chapter was established back in 2014 and it continues to grow and thrive under the current leadership of Jill Paluch and Fish Reninger.
