Meanwhile Partners with Uchibā

Meanwhile, Brewing Co. partnered with award-winning izakaya-inspired restaurant and cocktail bar, Uchibā Austin, to release their Japanese-style lager as part of their rotating lager series. Uchibā Austin will feature Meanwhile’s Japanese Style Lager on their happy hour menu now through the end of May. And you can find it in cans throughout Central Texas available now through the end of May.

Austin Eastciders Introduces Rico Tepache

Out now, Austin Eastciders’ latest release Rico Tepache is a first-of-its-kind, high-alcohol take on a traditional tephace made with fermented pine pineapple, piloncillo (brown sugar), cinnamon, and bubbles. Inspired by Tejano culture, Rico Tepache comes in at  6.8% ABV, but true to the sweet, tropical flavors of a traditional tepache, with a boldly colorful can designed by Mexico City’s world renowned visual artist and illustrator Raúl Urias.

Slackers Brewing Co. Collabs with New Indoor Golf Club

Slackers Brewing collaborated with their new small business neighbor Golfinity Indoor Golf Performance Club brewing Birdie Train, the Arnold Palmer-themed Kölsch. “Birdie Train is a take on a classic Kölsch with the perfect partnership of tangy lemon and smooth tea flavors. It’s a thirst quencher on those sunny days out on the green,” per the press release.

Whitestone & Rockabilly Reopen

Whitestone’s Cedar Park location relocated to a taproom in the old Lucy’s Fried Chicken spot at 401 E. Whitestone Blvd earlier in March. Rockabilly’s original location underwent significant renovations and reopened in March in Hutto.
