Bear King Brewery Closes Permanently
As first reported by the DailyTrib, Bear King Brewery in Marble Falls, Texas has announced it will permanently close. According to a March 3 release, the brewery’s final day of operation will be Saturday, March 7.
Founded in the Summer of 2018, the family-owned brewery set out to create a community-focused gathering place that honored both their family roots and the traditions of Marble Falls. Over the past seven years, Bear King earned several awards and built a strong reputation for its creative marketing which often drew inspiration from Hill Country lore and storytelling.
The closure comes during a challenging economic climate for breweries, with market pressures and rising costs impacting the industry nationwide.
