Beer Data and Statistics
Another week with a new Bruery bomber, this time with the Melange 14. Along with that, Avery is sending a nice list of their barrel aged beers. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format (12oz) can cc = 16oz format can C = Larger format can 3 Nations – Oktoberfeest (K) 3 Nations – Mango […]
It seems like it is becoming a regular weekly thing that new Texas breweries are getting approvals. This week, we have the first TABC label approvals from Orf Brewing (Austin), Hemisphere Brewing (Rockwall), and finally Oskar Blues‘ first ATX branded cans. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format (12oz) can cc = 16oz format can […]
TABC label and brewery approvals has been slower this week than previous weeks. Braindead seems to be making moves to receive label approvals for all of their beers. AleSmith is also sending Vietnamese Coffee Speedway to Texas, which is one of the best non-BA variants of Speedway that they offer. And then there is Audacity, who wins the most WTF name of the week. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format […]
Surprisingly a long list for a relatively short week. Lakewood is releasing two new barrel aged beers – their IPA and Vienna Lager. Legal Draft (DFW area) is going to start canning their beers. Finally, Tallgrass beers are starting to get approved and should be in TX shortly. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format […]
We now know what Karbach’s FUN Series 015 will be based on the TABC label approval…..along with BBH with Cherries being approved. Audacity is creating an Abbey line of bottles which sounds like they could be another solid addition to their lineup. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format (12oz) can cc = 16oz format […]
In this weeks TABC label and brewery approvals it is mainly dominated by newer breweries getting their kegs approved. Places like Highwheel (San Antonio), Eureka Heights (Houston), Running Walker (Houston area), and Rabble Rouser (McAllen). This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = Small format bottle c = Small format (12oz) can cc = 16oz format can C = Larger format can 10 […]
A big jump in the number of approvals over the last couple of weeks. We do have some new firsts showing up as well, including Amager Bryghus and Gigantic Brewing. Amager’s lineup includes a collaboration with Jester King called Danish Metal, which is close enough to the original Black Metal to make some people happy. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz format bottle b = […]
Four Texas brewpubs were approved this week, which I think may be a record for most in a single week. That side of the market continues to grow rapidly. Cans seem to be where everyone is headed lately. Salado’s Barrow Brewing now has approval for their mainstay cans, along with new ones from Rahr, Deep Ellum and Brazos Valley. This week’s TABC Label Approvals: K = Keg B = Large format bottle bb = 16oz […]
I am giving a shout out to Eureka Heights. Your label approvals actually had me laugh as I was putting them in. If you can end up naming all your beers off of Creed songs, I will be impressed. You win this week. As of today, Bell’s Brewery also has approval to sell in TX. I am not expecting it to be here that soon, but, I am surprised by how quickly they received TABC approval. […]
Biggest news this week is that the first Wicked Weed beers are now approved in Texas. No real idea on when they plan to start hitting the shelves, but I am guessing it will not take too long. The label approval list is relatively short this week, but I think this is partly due to about 100 Boston Beer Company approvals on different labels for their shandy. I just ignored them, as they are pointless […]
Quite a long list going for this week’s TABC label approvals. I should note for the Austin and Houston readers that we will finally be getting AleSmith in our area starting in June. So, their approvals are now relevant to our interests. With that said, Southern Star is pumping out more cans of seasonals and one offs. We also have a new brewery with Oil Horse receiving their first approvals for their Longview location. Finally, […]
More Cantillon approvals this week for the TABC label approvals, but only for kegs, and kegs that seem to have been approved some time back (at times, the TABC system can be slow at having approvals show up). Firestone Walkers Parabajava is approved for kegs, which is a delicious beer and I assume will be a pain to find even on tap. Battered Boar, another Oklahoma brewery, received their first label approvals as well. I […]
